Dear all ,
I have attached a letter just received from Dr. Kuo about CSB's recent condition for your reference. Although our request and unbiased report have been submitted to the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission through Representatives Lungren and Andrews, it will be very helpful if you will contact your district representatives as soon as possible to write letters to the Lantos Commission to take up CSB's human rights case. Every little bit helps in this humanitarian cause. This is not a political issue as the Ma government claims but clearly a human rights issue that everyone should proactively spread the word. The human rights of all Taiwanese are at stake here so please help in any way you can. You can assume that TECRO in D.C. has been actively lobbying Congress behind the scenes against the recommendations set forth in our report. Thank You.

Many thanks for your quick response. I shall transfer the relevant part of your response to DPP.
The son of CSB sent me an email talking about CSB's recent health status when we were in the office of the deputy secretary-general of DPP. The blood pressure of CSB rose to 178 mmHg recently when he felt dyspneic and chest discomfort. CSB told his son that he felt that he might die suddenly. CSB requested prompt medical help including psychological intervention which he often refused to do so, but the prison officers was slow in responding to his request. We can do nothing about this at all.
