Why has the health of President Chen deteriorated so rapidly since last July?
By Janice Chen, Spokesperson for President Chen's Volunteer Medical Team, Jan. 11, 2013
Janice Chen just wrote an article today to cast doubt on why President Chen's health has deteriorated so rapidly since last July. According to the medical records, President Chen's blood pressure skyrocketed to 178/128 and stayed up high for over two weeks. The Taipei Prison authority only gave him a few hours of rest at the prison clinic after he complained about his condition. Finally, he got to see a doctor, not a specialist for heart and circulation. He was not administered with any meaningful treatments and was not sent to a hospital outside of the prison for further examination. His symptoms of slurred speech and loss of memory started about the same time. Therefore, most likely his brain was injured due to this extended high blood pressure condition. The prison authority should be held responsible legally for medical neglect. (Note that he was given a drive-through hospital checkup in September, almost five weeks later, running through 6 tests in five hours, including colonoscopy and was forced back to the prison before he was able to urinate.)
Janice Chen speculated that President Chen must have been tortured in the prison. His food in prison probably was spiced with spit, sand, urine, etc. President Chen never revealed to anyone about any tortures but he was very polite to all prison officials, probably for fear of revenges. This is probably the reason why he now refuses to eat any food prepared by the prison or even Veteran Hospital. (Note that there is no victim paranoia because he and his family members have been victimized in every way possible.)
In the first week of September, he was bitten by hundreds of ants. Dr. Kuo witnessed those bites in person and he never saw such bites in his thirty years of practicing. (Were they really ant bits?) Where did these ants come from? In the second week of September, he was forcefully fed 2000 CC water by his cellmate, under the order of the prison warden and Tseng Yon-Fu, the minister of Justice Department. This force-feeding triggered a life threatening emergency and he has been hospitalized since. His skin tone is so dark even though he has been deprived of sunlight in the last four years. It could be due to toxin, possible from food poisoning. His complexion only improves some after three months in the hospital, eating only food prepared by his family.
Ma viewed President Chen as a fearful political opponent. Within reasonable doubt, Ma has the motive to remove this formidable opponent once and for all by torturing him to death or insane. This is a typical pattern of eliminating those previously in power in Chinese history when a new dynasty assumed the power.
(Note: Recently, the deputy warden of Taipei Prison told President Chen that he expected President Chen to voluntarily request to return to Taipei Prison because there will be short of security staff during the lunar new year holidays to watch over him in the hospital. These KMT elites keep creating new lows in humanity.)
