敬愛的台灣鄉親,
我在今年十一月曾寄給大家第一封信, 這是第二封. 我是陳榮良, 一位在加州沙加緬度執業的泌尿科醫生. 明年一月的大選將是台灣現代史上最重要的選舉, 做為一個土生土長的台灣人, 我會回台灣投下我的一票.
事實很清楚, 因為馬英九和他的中國國民黨的配合, 台灣的主權正受到中國的掠奪蠶食. 我擔心台灣人恐怕快把我們熱愛的台灣輸給對岸的中國共產巨魔. 馬政府對中國勒索脅迫的每一個讓步, 都被說成是中國對台灣的讓利, 實際上是把台灣一步步推向被中國併吞的道路.
隨著台灣大選的日子的倒數, 中國國民黨根深蒂固的腐敗選舉奧步就一天天更加明顯, 因為他們仍想最後盡一切可能來繼續控制台灣人民. 例如, 用變造的 TaiMed (宇昌案) 會議文件對民進黨候選人蔡英文的抹黑指控, 只不過是國民黨在二次世界大戰後殖民台灣的邪惡霸權統治的一個例子而已, 而這個例子也反映出國民黨在中國創黨以來、一向邪惡的鬥爭文化不曾改變. 不幸的是中國國民黨幾十年來對台灣的同化洗腦做的極為成功, 而現在中國企圖介入台灣大選的野心也十分明顯; 中國想用貿易利潤的承諾和在選舉前對台海發射飛彈來威脅利誘台灣人投票給馬英九.
台灣的未來在你我的手中; 台灣的未來應該由台灣人來決定, 而不是由任何其他人, 更不應該由中國人來決定! 我認為我們台灣人應該奮起對抗中國和馬統幫邪惡的威脅和侵略, 努力打拼台灣全面的自由、自決和獨立! 台灣的命運在你我的手中. 在選舉那一天, 我們可以把總統票和立法委員的票投給民進黨, 這樣投就可以阻擋中國的併吞, 這樣投就可以拿回本土政權、用勇氣和公義再造民主的台灣!

My dear fellow Taiwanese:
This is a follow-up message to the one I sent to you in November. I am Dr. Jong Chen, M.D., a practicing urologist in Sacramento, CA. As a native Taiwanese, I will be returning to Taiwan in January to cast my vote in the most pivotal election in Taiwan’s modern history.
It is abundantly clear now that Taiwan’s sovereignty is being taken away from us by China with the cooperation of Ma Ying-jeou and his Chinese Nationalist Party. I am worried that the Taiwanese people are about to lose our beloved Taiwan to the Chinese communist giant across the Strait. Every concession to China’s demands and conditions, under the guise of a benefit to Taiwan, is a move towards annexation by China.
As election day approaches, the innately corrupt practices of the Chinese Nationalist Party are becoming more evident everyday as it desperately tries to maintain its power over the Taiwanese people. For instance, the Tai-Med allegations against the DPP candidate are but one of many vicious and immoral tactics perpetrated by the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT), whose culture and practices have not changed since its founding and existence in China and during their colonization of Taiwan by brute force following the end of WWII. Unfortunately, the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) has succeeded to a large extent the Chinese process of assimilation in Taiwan over the last several decades. It is now also clear that China intends to intimidate the Taiwanese people into voting for Ma Ying-jeou and his party by promising economic benefits and by sending a warning by firing missiles across the Strait just before election day.
Taiwan’s future is up to us, the Taiwanese people, and no one else, especially, China. I submit that we move our Taiwan toward full freedom, self-determination and independence by standing up against the intimidation of the aggressive, immoral tactics of the communist People’s Republic of China and its surrogate Ma and his party. It is up to us because on election day, we, with our ballots, can stop annexation by China by voting for the DPP for President and for the Legislative Yuan, and thus reclaim and build on the democratic society that we have accomplished with courage and justice.
Remember one does not know what freedom is until it is lost forever.
